This is FCLO's best production since their award-winning
Miss Saigon. Robert Patteri, Norman Large, Mary VanArsdel,
and Teressa Byrne give superb performances, and Gary
Gordon directs his cast of 40 (!) with experienced
professionalism. The costumes are lavish, the 2nd Act Ballet
gorgeously performed (by Paul J. Romero, Jr. and Lisaun
Whittingham), and the songs (by Arthur Kopit) far surpass
ALW's in beauty and variety. Unlike the better known
P.O.T.O., this version has heart and humor. Only the bus
and truck sets prevent this from being a perfect
production. See it!
